When in regular use
Machine should be cleaned periodic
ally to remove lint and fluff which may
have accumulated around working
parts. To clean bobbin case area, re
move bobbin case as instructed on
page 69.

When stored
If machine is to be stored away for
an indefinite period, a thorough brush
cleaning to remove all traces of lint
and fluff, followed by swabbing of all
exposed parts with SINGER* Oil is
necessary to protect machine against
rust damage.
