Operation of generator in careless
manner.
All sources of energy include the po­
tential for injury. Unsafe operation or
maintenance of your generator could
lead to serious Ir^ury or death to you or
others.
• Review and understand alt of
the operating instructions and
warnings in this manual.
• Become familiar with the
operation and controls of the
generator. Know how to shut it
off quicMy.
■ Equip area of operation with a
fire extinguisher certifled to
handle gasoline or fuel fires.
• Keep children or others away
from the generator at all times.
Operation of voK^e sensitive appli­
ances without a voltage surge pro­
tector. Any gasoline operated household gen­
erator wll Incur voltage variations caus­
ing damage to voltage sensitive appli­
ances or could result in fire.
Always use a U.L listed voltage sen­
sitive surge protector to connect
voltage sensitive applianeee (TV,
computer, stereo, etc.). Failm to
use a U.L. listed voltage surge
protector wHi void the warranty on
your generator.
Notica: A multiple outlet strip is not
a surge protector make sure you use
a U.L listed voltage surge protec­
tor.
Raising or suspending generators
