.

t the joiner wire into both ele

tors
.
Wipe a

xcess epo
xy as it squeez
es out.

Inser
t 3 hinges into each ele

ator half and install
the ele
v
ator assemb
ly on the stab
.
Inser
t
T
-pins into
the center of each hinge to k
eep them centered.

5.
Using thin CA, glue each hinge in place

Apply
6 drops of CA on each hinge
, top and bottom.
After
the glue has cured, pull on the ele
v
a
tor halv
es to be
sure the hinges are glued securely in place
.
Apply
more CA if necessar
y.

Using masking tape
, hold the ele
v
ators in place
ensur
ing the
y
remain par
allel to each other when
vie
w
ed from behind.

Allo
w the epo
xy to fully harden on the ele
v
ator
halv
es bef
ore proceeding.
Attac
h the Fin

1.

est fit the
fin
.
Mak
e note of where the ele
v
ator
joiner wire comes in contact with the fin.
Y
ou will need
to mak

a small notch to allo
w the ele
v
ator joiner
wire to rotate freely at this location and allo
w the fin
to rest flush against the fuselage f
or gluing.
Remo
v
e
the fin and coat the notch with thin CA to fuelproof the e
xposed w
ood.

k where the fin contacts the fuselage once y

u
ha
ve
it aligned.
Mar
k the outline of the fin on the fuselage
and remo
ve the co
ve
ring betw
een these mar
ks
.

Glue the fin in place as sho
wn using 30 min

te
epo
xy
.The leading edge of the fin should be centered
on the fuselage
.
Ensure the fin is per
pendicular (at a
90° angle) to the hor
iz
ontal stabiliz
er
.
Use
T
-Pins and
masking tape to hold the fin in place until the epo
xy
fully hardens
.
