rubber stopper
from the fuel tank.
The hardw

e the fuel tank lightly to get the hardw
are out.
Inside there is a
fuel c
lunk
,
three alumin

m tubes
,
and a
3" [76mm] length of silicone fuel tubing
.

Inser

o metal tubes through the openings in
the stopper assemb
ly as sho
wn.
Be sure that the
bottom plate is on the stopper assemb
ly when y

u
inser
t the tubes
.
Bend one of the tubes slightly
.
All
tubes e
xcept f
or the long bent tube should protr
ude
from the stopper 1/2" [13mm].
The long end does not
need to be an
y specific length.

3.
Cut the silicone fuel tubing to 2" [51mm] in length
and attach the
fuel c
lunk
.

Slide the stopper assemb
ly into the
fuel tank
.
The bent tube should point upw
ard.
The clunk should
mo
v
e
freely
, b
ut rest against the bac
k of the tank
when the stopper is in place
.
Mak
e note of which of
the tubes is bent inside the tank.
This will be y
our
vent line
that is connected to the m
uffler
.
The other
line is connected to the carb
uretor on the engine
.
Mount the Fuel

Locate the f
our mounting slots f
or the fuel tank.
Remo
v
e
the co
v
e
ring from these slots with a shar
p
hob
b
y
knif
e
.
Wic
k
some thin CA into the slots to
fuelproof the e
xposed w
ood.

2.
Using the tw
o
n
y
lon tie straps
pro
vided, attach
the fuel tank to the fuselage
.
The v
ent line should be
to
w
ards the top of the fuselage
.
Hint:
A small str
ip of
doub
le-sided f
oam tape could be used betw
een the
fuselage and the fuel tank to help hold the fuel tank
in place
.
