Cleaning Instructions
The TW8060 may be wiped down with a damp cloth using mild
water based detergent or an antibacterial cleansing wipe. DO
NOT submerge under water at any time.
Proper Care of Probes
Avoid twisting or wrapping the probe cable tightly as this can
cause the wires to short inside the connector. Do not kink probe
cables. Loosely wrapping the cable during use or in storage is
preferred. Some probe cables should not be immersed in fluids.
Do not scrub or wash any probe cable that has a high-temp
fiber insulation. Avoid exposing cables to flames.
Maintenance
If you are storing this unit for long periods of time, it is
recommended to remove the batteries and avoid storing at
extreme temperatures or in high humidity environments.
Warranty
This instrument carries a one-year warranty against defects
in either components or workmanship. During this period,
products that prove to be defective will, at the discretion of
ThermoWorks, be either repaired or replaced without charge.
This warranty does not apply to probes where a six-month
period is offered. The product warranty does not cover damage
caused by fair wear and tear, abnormal storage conditions,
incorrect use, accidental misuse, abuse, neglect, misapplication
or modification. Full details of liability are available with
ThermoWorks’ Terms & Conditons of Sale.
