INSTRUMENT OPERATION - Switch the instrument on and apply
the tip of the probe to the substance or medium to be measured.
The instrument reading may take a few seconds to stabilize,
depending on the nature of the measurement and sensitivity of the
probe.
OPEN CIRCUIT/FAULTY PROBE - If the probe has developed an
'Open Circuit' fault the instrument will display 'Err'.
CHANGE FROM FAHRENHEIT TO CELSIUS - Press and hold the
“ON/OFF” button for 5 seconds and the displayed temperature will
change from °F and °C.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT - The instrument will display 'LO
BAT' to warn that the batteries will need changing soon. The
instrument continues to measure accurately but after further usage
the instrument will display 'flat bat' and shutdown. Replace the
batteries with three AAA batteries located under the rear cover
that is held in place by a single screw.
GUARANTEE - This instrument carries a two-year warranty
against defects in either components or workmanship. During this
period, products that prove to be defective will, at the discretion
of ThermoWorks, be either repaired or replaced without charge.
This warranty does not apply to probes, where a six-month period
is offered. The product warranty does not cover damage caused
by fair wear and tear, abnormal storage conditions, incorrect use,
accidental misuse, abuse, neglect, misapplication or modification.

Conditions of Sale available by request. In line with our policy
of continuous development, we reserve the right to amend our
product specification without prior notice.
This instrument has been checked or calibrated against reference
instrument(s) calibrated by a UKAS Accredited Calibration
Laboratory, which are traceable, via International Agreement, to
all major National Standards, including NIST.
FR - UTILISATION DE L’INSTRUMENT - Allumez l'instrument
et appliquez la pointe de la sonde à la substance ou au milieu à
mesurer. La stabilisation de l'indication de l'instrument peut prendre
quelques secondes, en fonction de la nature de la mesure et de la
sensibilité de la sonde.
CIRCUIT OUVERT/SONDE DEFECTUEUSE - Si la sonde a
développé un défaut 'Circuit Ouvert', l'instrument affichera 'Err'.
CHANGER DE FAHRENHEIT EN CELSIUS - Maintenez la touche
“ON / OFF" pendant 5 secondes et la température affichée va
changer entre °F et °C.
REMPLACEMENT DES PILES - L'instrument affichera 'LO BAT'
(piles faibles) pour avertir que les piles auront besoin d'être
changées bientôt. L'instrument continue de mesurer avec précision
mais, après avoir encore été utilisé, l’instrument affichera 'flat bat'
(piles à plat) et s'éteindra. Remplacez les piles par trois piles AAA
situées sous le couvercle arrière qui est maintenu en place par une
seule vis.

KABELBRUCH/FEHLER DES MESSFÜHLERS - Wenn bei der
Messsonde ein Kabelbruch vorliegt, wird auf dem Instrument 'Err'
angezeigt.
ÄNDERN VON FAHRENHEIT AUF CELSIUS - Drücken und
halten Sie die "ON / OFF" Taste für 5 Sekunden und die angezeigte
Temperatur wird zwischen °F und °C wechseln.
BATTERIEWECHSEL - Das Instrument zeigt 'LO BAT'
an, um darauf hinzuweisen, dass die Batterien in Kürze
ausgetauscht werden müssen. Das Instrument setzt die korrekte
Temperaturmessung fort, aber nach weiterer Benutzung zeigt
das Instrument 'flat bat' an und schaltet sich ab. Tauschen Sie die
Batterien durch drei AAA-Batterien aus. Die Batterien befinden
sich unter der hinteren Abdeckung, die durch eine Schraube
