Action Codes
Action Codes
Action codes let you easily analyze the performance of your DB2 subsystem by allowing
you to get more information about or perform actions on panel objects. You can use
action codes as an alternative to using the Actions menu.
Available action codes
You can use these action codes in OMEGAMON II.
Using an action code
To use an action code on a panel object:
■ Type the action code letter in the entry field of the panel object, and press Enter.
Result: Another data panel appears, depending on the action code you entered.
Action Code Description
Show Details S Shows more detail about the selected item.
Analyze Problems A Provides information about
■ causes of warning or critical conditions
■ existing threshold settings
■ current values which are compared to existing thresholds
Near-term History H Shows statistical data about recent DB2 activity.
Control L Allows you to change threshold values and turn on and off
monitoring for specific exceptions.
