7. Pull the searing burner out a little and use an
adjustable wrench to disconnect the flex line from
the burner, then disconnect the igniter wire. (See
Fig. 7)
NOTE: Make sure the wire does not fall into the access hole.
8. Remove the searing burner.
9. Remove the (6) screws holding the front heat
shield in place.(See Fig. 8)
10. Lift the front heat shield out of the grill. (See
Fig. 9)
11. Disconnect the wires from the main burner
igniter.(See Fig. 10)
NOTE: Make sure the wire does not fall into the access hole.
12. Angle the main burner up, and set it in the
firebox. (See Fig. 11)
13. Hold the elbow on the rear IR burner valve
and use a 3/4 wrench to disconnect the flex line
from it. (See Fig. 12)
Note: Be careful, applying pressure to the elbow of the valve
may cause it to break.
14. Hold the elbow on the searing burner valve
and use adjustable wrench to remove the flex line
from it.(See Fig. 13)
