THE REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY
To prevent possible SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH:
• NEVER allow small children near batteries.
• If battery is swallowed, immediately notify doctor.
To reduce risk of fi re, explosion or chemical burn:
• Replace ONLY with 3V2032 coin batteries.
• DO NOT recharge, disassemble, heat above 100° C
(212° F) or incinerate.
To prevent possible SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH from
a falling garage door:

obstructions.
• NEVER use handle to pull door open or closed. If
rope knot becomes untied, you could fall.
The lithium battery should produce power for up to
5 years.
To replace battery, use the
visor clip or screwdriver
blade to pry open the case
as shown. Insert battery
positive side up (+).
Replace the battery with only
3V2032 coin cell batteries.
Dispose of old battery
properly.

To Open the Door
Manually
DISCONNECT THE
TROLLEY:
The door should be fully closed
if possible. Pull down on the
emergency release handle (so
that the trolley release arm
snaps into a vertical position)
and lift the door manually.
The lockout feature prevents
the trolley from reconnecting
automatically, and the door can
be raised and lowered manually
as often as necessary.
TO RE-CONNECT THE
TROLLEY:
Pull the emergency release
handle toward the opener at an
angle so that the trolley release
arm is horizontal. The trolley
will reconnect on the next UP
or DOWN operation, either
manually or by using the door
control or remote.
