NSTALLATION
WARNING!
The hydraulic system creates very high
pressure. Before disconnecting any
hydraulic lines ensure all pressure has
been bled from the system. When
changing the boom hydraulic hoses leave
the booms in TRANSPORT POSITION.
For an OEM installation, hydraulic
installation depends greatly on the sprayer.
The following outlines some general
considerations, rather than specific
installation instructions.
4.5.1 Proportional
Valves
The UC4+ Spray Height Control system
requires the sprayer to use proportional
valves on the left and right boom circuits.
These valves should be supplied with your
Spray Height Control kit from the dealer.
To determine if the valve block on your
sprayer has proportional valves compare the
boom solenoid valves on the valve block.
The proportional valves are longer than the
other valves on the block. See Figure 11
when changing the existing valves to the
proportional valves.

If you require proportional valves,
or a 5 or 6-station compatible
valve block, contact your NORAC
dealer.
