POWER SUPPLY

The clock radio is suitable for connection to a 220 V, 50 Hz power supply (for Great
Britain 240 V. 50 Hz). As soon as the mains plug is put into the wall socket, the
numbers on the display will start to flash. This means that you must set the correct
time.

To disconnect the set from the mains completely, withdraw the mains plug from
the wall socket.
RADIO
You can use this clock radio solely as a radio.

• Set the mode selector © to RADIO. The radio is on.
• Select the waveband using the BANDS switch @

• Locate the required transmitter using the TUNING dial
• Set the volume using the VOLUME control ©.

To switch off the radio, set the mode selector © to OFF.

For FM reception there is an aerial wire at the rear of the clock radio. This wire must
be extended and if necessary adjusted slightly in order to obtain good reception.
The AM aerial is built into the clock radio. To obtain optimum reception you may
have to adjust the positioning of the clock radio slightly.

• You can connect a pair of stereo or mono headphones with 3.5 mm plug to the
socket ,'¡7. ©• The loudspeaker is then muted.
• This socket @ can also be connected to the input socket of an amplifier, a
recorder etc.

The clock indicates the time on the display. In the case of a 12-hour clock system,
the PM indicator will light up (on = PM, off=AM).
The alarm indicator AL. comes on when you switch the alarm on.
You can place the display upright.
adjusting the time
• Keep the TIME SET button ® pressed.
• Set the correct time using the HOUR and MINUTE buttons @.
• Release the TIME SET button.
