Connect the AC cord
(supplied) to the AC 120V jack
on the hack of the TV. Then, plug
in the TV.
Press the POWER but­
ton to turn the TV ON.
Connect earphones (not sup­
plied) to the EARPHONE jack
if you want personal listening.
Note: Do not connect earphones
that have an L-shaped plug. The
plug may interfere with the cabinet.

1. Slide off the battery com­
partment lid on the
remote control.
2. Insert two AA batteries
(supplied) into the bat­
tery compartment as indi­
cated by the polarity (+ / -)
markings inside the battery
compartment. Batteries
installed with incorrect
polarity may damage the
remote control.

Point the remote control
toward the remote sensor win­
dow on the TV when operating
the TV with the remote.
Power Button ----------------------
Press to turn TV ON and OFF.
Number Buttons --------------------
Press two number buttons to
select TV channels. For exam­
ple: to select channel 6 ... press
"0" first, then "6."
When you select cable chan­
nels which are equal or greater
than the number 100, press the
+100 button, then press the last
two digits of the channel you
want. For example, to select
channel 117, press the +100
button, 1,7.
Channel Scan Buttons
Press to scan up or down
through programmed channel
numbers.
When you press these buttons
before setting AUTO MEMO,
the TV scans to the next avail­
able channel. If the TV is not
receiving a signal, the TV will
continue to scan channels until
you press the MENU button to
exit. In this case, check anten­
na connections.

Press to show the on-screen
menu and move through the
menu.
Select Button
Press to select items in the on­
screen menu.

Sleep Button
Press to set the TV to
automatically turn itself
OFF.

Press to display the channel
number at all times. (If a
Closed Caption mode is
selected, the channel num­
ber will only appear
briefly.) To remove the
channel number, press the
DISPLAY button again.
Alt. Ch (Alternate
Channell Button
Press to return to the TV
channel you were viewing
immediately before switch­
ing to your current channel.
Volume (At and IT)
Buttons
Press to adjust the TV
sound level.
Mute Button
Press to turn the sound OFF
on the TV. Press again to
return the sound to its previ­
ous level.
Set (+1 and t-1 Buttons
Press to select items in the
menu or to adjust the pic­
ture controls.
