Discharging the Battery Pack
It’s a good idea to let the battery pack completely discharge before you charge
it. This will optimize the charge capacity of the battery pack.
If you notice the printer is printing fewer pages with a full charge, you can
initiate a complete discharge process. First, make sure the battery pack is
installed in the battery case, and make sure the AC adapter is attached.

Press the
REFRESH switch.
Use a pointed object, such as a ballpoint pen.

The REFRESH
light blinks during
the discharge
process.
This process takes about 10 hours.
When the battery pack is completely discharged, the CHARGE light begins
blinking as the battery pack automatically starts recharging.
