Installation
Your new mixer is supplied partially assembled. For
more information, see the parts list pages for general
arrangement drawings.
Turbine blades:
To install the turbine blade, back off the set screw as
far as possible without removing them. Insert mixing
shaft into the bore and tighten the set screw firmly to
secure the turbine blade to the shaft.
Turbine blade Placement:
See the General arrangement drawing included with
this manual.
The drawing guideline is a “rule of thumb” and may not
be the best for your situation. Experimenting with
turbine blade placement may provide your best results.
Assembly:
1.) Alter container lid to accept lower bearing
housing per drawing below.
2.) Place Teflon gasket on lower housing and
insert through opening in lid.
3.) Place tabbed bracket over lower housing and
fasten with )4) 5/16-18 flat head screws
4.) Replace lid on tank.
5.) Place upper drive unit onto hex portion of drive
shaft, turn to locate against pins.
6.) Lift lock pin and drop into loacing position
7.) Assemble air hose to inlet port of the motor.
8.) Make sure air control valve is closed.
Mixer is now ready to operate.
