LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Your CenterPoint
tm
Hunting and Outdoors crossbow purchased in the US and Canada is warranted to be free of
defects in materials and workmanship which affect the operation of the crossbow for the lifetime of the original
owner. You must register the warranty card within 30 days of purchase to activate the warranty. At CenterPoint’s
discretion, we may accept proof of purchase (ex., receipt) instead of a registered warranty card. This warranty
does not cover damages due to fair wear and tear, failure to provide routine maintenance, and does not include
strings, cables or accessories. Centerpoint
®
scopes have a separate warranty. Bow limbs are warranted for five
years from date of purchase. Otherwise, this warranty lasts as long as the original purchaser owns the product,
and is not transferable. In the event of a defect which adversely affects the operation of the crossbow, under
this warranty, we will, at our option, repair or replace the part or product provided our inspection indicates that
an original defect exists. CenterPoint Hunting and Outdoors reserves the right to replace any part or product
which is no longer available with a part or product of comparable value and function. This is a limited warranty
and does not cover damages caused by misuse, improper handling, dry-firing, using underweight arrows,
neglect or rust. If CenterPoint Hunting and Outdoors determines the repair is not covered under the warranty
guidelines, there could be a charge to you for the repair. CenterPoint’s determination regarding the coverage of
the warranty will be final.
Transportation charges to CenterPoint for product are not covered. This limited warranty does not include
consequential damages, incidental damages, or incidental expenses, including damage to property or any other
expense. CenterPoint Hunting and Outdoors disclaims any implied warranties. Some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow limitations on implied warranties so the
above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may
also have other rights which vary from state to state and country to country.
This warranty is void for any crossbow rented or loaned to others by a retailer, wholesaler, or shooting range
operator, or other commerical business organization, whether or not a fee is charged for its use.

6. AIMING AND FIRING SAFELY
A. Aiming the Crossbow
• Always point your crossbow in a SAFE DIRECTION.
• Always keep your fingers and thumb below the travel path of the bow string and cables.
• Follow the instructions for cocking and loading.
• You and others with you should always wear shooting glasses to protect your eyes.
• Do not shoot at hard surfaces or at the surface of water. The arrow may bounce off or ricochet
and hit someone or something you had not intended to hit.
• Always choose your target carefully
• THINK about what you will hit if you miss the target.
B. SIGHTING IN YOUR CROSSBOW
Your crossbow is equipped with a CenterPoint Precision
®
Optic. Follow the instructions for your
optic for mounting and adjustment.
C. Firing
• With your crossbow pointed in a safe direction, and your hands in the proper position release the
safety by pushing the safety all the way forward (section 3A). (fig. 10b)
• Aim carefully.
• Pull the trigger.
D. De-cocking your bow
You should not cock or load your crossbow unless you are in a safe area and in a position to
shoot safely.
ALWAYS identify your target and beyond prior to shooting.
If for some reason you must de-cock your bow, do not dry fire it. Load an old arrow and fire into a
safe target after following the instructions in this manual. Dry firing can cause serious injury to you
and/or damage to your bow.
7. MAINTAINING YOUR CROSSBOW
• DO NOT MODIFY OR ALTER YOUR CROSSBOW. Attempts to modify the crossbow in any way
inconsistent with this manual may make your crossbow unsafe to use, cause serious injury or death,
and will void the warranty.
• If you drop your crossbow, visually check to see that it works properly before you use it again. If
anything seems changed, like a shorter or weaker trigger pull, this may mean worn out or broken
parts. Always check your crossbow thoroughly for worn, damaged, loose or missing parts prior to
shooting. Call CenterPoint
®
customer service for assistance before using your crossbow again.
• Periodically place a light coat of Teflon or silicon based lubricant on all metal parts to prevent rust
and corrosion.
• We also recommend standard archery string wax to reduce fraying and increase longevity.
• Change strings when they become worn or frayed. Contact an established archery shop to change
the strings. Changing strings requires experience and a bow press which can be found at an
established archery shop.
• Inspect all bolts (arrows) for wear, damage, nicks before using, if any wear damage or nicks are
found dispose of the bolts properly.
8. REVIEWING SAFETY
• Always aim in a SAFE DIRECTION. Always keep the muzzle of the crossbow pointed in a
SAFE DIRECTION.
• Never point the crossbow at any PERSON or at anything you do not intend to shoot.
• Always treat the crossbow as though it is loaded and with the same respect you would a firearm.
• Always keep the crossbow on safe until you are ready to shoot.
• Always check to see if the crossbow is “ON SAFE” and unloaded when getting it from another
person or from storage.
• Always keep your fingers and thumb below the travel path of the bow string and cables. Failure to
do so could result in serious injury.
• Always keep your finger off the trigger and out of the trigger guard until ready to shoot.
• Always check your crossbow thoroughly for worn, damaged, loose or missing parts prior to shooting.
• Never dry fire your crossbow.
• Never cock or load your crossbow until you are ready to shoot and are sure of your target.
• Before shooting be sure the crossbow limbs are clear from striking tree limbs and other obstacles.
• Never shoot any projectile in your crossbow except for arrows recommended by CenterPoint for your
specific crossbow. Shooting other than recommended arrows could result in injury to you or
damage to your crossbow.
• You and others with you should always wear shooting glasses to protect your eyes.
• If your reading or prescription glasses are not safety glasses make sure you wear shooting glasses
over your regular glasses.
• Do not shoot at hard surfaces or at the surface of water. The arrow may bounce off or ricochet and
hit someone or something you had not intended to hit.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or tamper with your crossbow. Use an Authorized Service Station.
Using unauthorized repair centers or modifying the function of your crossbow in any way may be
unsafe and will void your warranty.
