Configuration Using the Web Interface
Admin Password
You can change the user name and the password here to enhance security.
System OID
The SNMP Object ID of the ES8509-XT. You can follow the path to find its private
MIB in an MIB browser.
Note: When you attempt to view private MIB, you should first compile private MIB
files into your MIB browser.
System Description
RocketLinx ES8509-XT Industrial 9G Managed Ethernet Switch.
Firmware Version
Displays the firmware version installed in this ES8509-XT.
Device MAC
Displays a unique hardware address (MAC address) assigned at the factory.
Product Name
Displays the product name, ES8509-XT.
Serial Number
Displays the serial number of the ES8509-XT.
Manufacture Date
Displays the date of manufacture.
Apply
Click Apply to apply the settings.
Note: You must Save the settings (
), if you want to maintain these settings
if the ES8509-XT is powered off.
Admin Password Page

You can enter a new user name here. The default
name is admin.
Password
You can enter a new password here. The default
password is admin.
Confirm
Password
You need to type the new password again to
confirm it.

The IP address of the RADIUS server.
Shared Key
The password for communication between switch
and RADIUS Server.
Server Port
UDP port of RADIUS server.
Secondary RADIUS Server
RADIUS
Server IP
The IP address of the RADIUS server.

The password for communication between switch
and RADIUS Server.
