ACTIVE HEADREST - HALF
Open the quick release toggle (1) and separate
from the mounting plate (2) from the main
headrest.
Attach the mounting plate (2) to the back rest
using the 4 bolts and washers (3) with a 1/8”hex
key in the kit bag. Add shim (4) to lie in between
the back rest and the mounting plate as shown in
the figure.
Insert the main headrest post (6) into the
mounting plate (2) and close the quick release
toggle (1).

Attach the headrest pad to the headrest ring (5)
using three 10-32 bolts and a 5/32” hex key in
the kit bag.

Tighten each bolt (7) firmly once the headrest
in properly fitted.

When the main headrest post is at the correct
height, lower the collar (8) to the mount plate
(2) along the mounting post and tighten the set
screw (9) using a 1/8” hex key. This will ensure
the headrest is returned to the correct position
after it is removed for transfers.

Insert the main headrest post (6) into the
mounting plate (2) and close the quick release
toggle (1).
