HOW TO CLEAN
Standard-cleaning oven
(Model BGP430W)
Warm, soapy water or soapy steel wool
pads.
OR
■ Make sure oven is cooL
■ Remove door and oven bottom for
easier access.
■ Clean heavily soiled areas or stains.
Rinse well with water.
Commercial oven cleaners.
■ Remove door and oven bottom for
easier access.
■ Place newspaper on floor to protect
floor surface.
■ FoUow directions provided with the
oven cleaner.
■ Rinse well with clear water.
■ Use in well-ventilated room.
■ Do not allow commercial oven
cleaners to contact the heating
elements, heat seal, thermostat or
exterior surfaces of the oven.
Damage will occur.
Heavy-duty aluminum foil or shallow
pan.
■ Place piece of foil or shallow pan,
slightly larger than the cooking
container, on rack under food to catch
spill-overs.
Continuous-cleaning oven
(Model BGC430W)
Warm, soapy water or a soapy steel
wool pad.
■ Make sure oven is cooL
■ Remove door and oven bottom for
easier access.
■ Clean heavily soiled areas or stains.
Rinse well with water.
Heavy-duty aluminum foU or shallow
pan.
■ Place piece of foil or shallow pan,
slightly larger than the cooking
container, on lower rack to catch spill
overs.
■ Do not use commercial oven cleaners.
■ Most fat splatters on oven walls and
floor will gradually reduce to a
piesentably clean condition during
baking or roasting.
Self-cleaning oven
(Model BGS470W)
For areas outside the Self-Cleaning area
use warm, soapy water or soapy steel
wool pads.
■ Follow directions starting on page 14,
“Using the Self-Cleaning cycle."
■ Do not use conunercial oven cleaners.
■ Do not use foil to line the bottom of
your Self-Cleaning Oven. (See page 7
for proper use of aluminum foil)
