The standard-cleaning oven
(Model BGP430W)

The standard-deeming oven has to be
hand-deaned. Use warm, soapy water,

soapy steel wool pads or a commerdal
oven deaner. See “Cleaning Chart" on
page 16 for further instructions.

NOTE: Do not allow commerdal oven
deaner to contact the heat seal,
thermostat or exterior surfaces of the
oven. Damage will occur.

Use foil during cooking to keep oven
clean. See “How to use aluminum foil for
baking” on page 7 for more information.

The continuous-cleaning
oven (Model BGC430W)

Standard-cleaning oven walls are coated
with smooth porcelain. Your continuous-
deaning oven walls are coated with a
spedal, rougher porcelain. A fat spatter
beads up on the smooth surface, but
spreads out on the rougher surface. The
bead of fat on the smooth surface chars
and turns black. The spread-out fat on
the rough surface gradually bums away
at medium to high baldng/ioasting
temperatures so the oven can retinn to a
presentably dean condition.

Cleaning tips

1. The oven window and racks are not

coated. Clean them by hand.

2. The oven door does not get as hot

as the walls. Some hand-deaning
may be needed.

3. If you do more broiling than baking

or roasting, hand-deaning may be
needed.

4. Use aluminum foil or a shallow pan

on the lower rack according to
instmctions below. Spill-overs may
not bum away and could stain the
bottom.
