On device controls and display
Model 305 features a 16x2 character display and two pushbuttons on the front panel. On the LCD, various
status information are displayed. The buttons are used to navigate through menus, to set the IP address,
net mask and gateway of LAN1, and to reboot the device.
Startup display
On startup Model 305 displays following information:
TC16 BIOS Version + IP-Address
TC/LINUX Version
Afterwards you will see on the display that the Model 305
is waiting for the KCS server. As soon as TCOSS
connects to the Model 305, you will get two more display screens for updating the software and for
initializing the DSPs.
Standard display
By default Model 305
displays either ``Not connected'' followed by the IP address, or the current line
statistics. Line statistics is displayed in the form ``
for example ``12/32 lines'' means that out of a total of 32 configured lines, 12 are active.
If there is no button pressed for a certain time, Model 305
will return to standard display automatically.
