2.0 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
All operators should wear safety goggles when using this or any other tachometer.
Failure to do so could result in serious injury!
1. Check condition of the mounting hubs of the cone tip, funnel tip, shaft extension
and surface speed wheel. Replace those that are worn, loose-itting or cracked.
2. When using the Surface Speed Wheel, make sure it its the tachometer shaft snugly.
In operation, keep the wheel perpendicular and parallel to the moving surface to
prevent it from running off the tachometer shaft.
3. Store the instrument in its carrying case when it is not in use.
