EFFECTS
Sustain
The PSR-4600 offers two sustain effects —
SUSTAIN 1 and SUSTAIN 2. Press the
SUSTAIN 1 or SUSTAIN 2 button once {the
corresponding indicator will light) and notes
played on the keyboard will decay gradually
after you lift your fingers from the keys.
Press the SUSTAIN 1 or SUSTAIN 2 button a
second time (it's indicator will go out) to turn
the sustain effect off. The SUSTAIN 2 button
produces a longer sustain effect than the SUS­
TAIN 1 button, although the actual length of
the SUSTAIN 1 and SUSTAIN 2 effects varies
from voice to voice.

Ihr PSR-4600 bietet zwei SUSTAIN- oder
Nachhalleffekte—SUSTAIN 1 und SUSTAIN 2.
Wenn Sie die Taste SUSTAIN 1 bzw. SUSTAIN
2 einmal antippen (die entsprechende Tastenan­
zeige leuchtet auO, klingen die Noten nach dem
Loslassen der Tasten allmählich aus. Zum
Ausschalten des SUSTAIN-Effekts wird die
entsprechende SUSTAIN-Taste einfach ein
zweites Mal gedrückt. Dadurch erlischt auch die
Tastenanzeige. SUSTAIN 2 bewirkt grundsätz­
lich eine langsamere Abklingung als SUSTAIN
1, die Abklingzeiten sind jedoch von Stimme zu
Stimme unterschiedlich.

Sustain
Le PSR-4600 offre deux effets de sustain,
SUSTAIN 1 et SUSTAIN 2. Appuyer une
première fois sur la touche SUSTAIN 1 ou
SUSTAIN 2 (le témoin correspondant s'allume)
pour que les notes jouées sur le clavier chutent
graduellement une fois que les doigts ont
quittés les touches. Appuyer une deuxième
fois sur la touche SUSTAIN 1 ou SUSTAIN 2
(le témoin correspondant s'éteint) pour arrêter
l'effet de sustain. La touche SUSTAIN 2 pro­
duit un effet plus long que la touche SUSTAIN
1, bien que la durée réelle des effets SUSTAIN
1 et SUSTAIN 2 varie selon la voix.

The SUSTAIN effect can also be switched ON or
OFF using an optional FC-5 footswitch connected
to the rear-panel SUSTAIN jack.
SUSTAIN 1 and SUSTAIN 2 cannot be selected
simultaneously.
The SUSTAIN effects cannot be applied to
accompaniment or rhythm.
Ensemble
The ensemble effect produces a "thick" multi­
instrument sound. Press the ENSEMBLE
button once (it's indicator will light) to turn the
ensemble effect ON, and a second time (the
ENSEMBLE indicator will go out) to turn the
ensemble effect OFF.

SUSTAIN-Buchse angeschiossenen Yamaha FC-5
Fußschalter ein- undausgeschaltet werden.
SUSTAIN 1 und SUSTAIN 2 können nicht
gleichzeitig zugeschaltet werden.
Die SUSTAIN-Effekte wirken nicht auf Rhythmus­
oder Baß/Akkordbegleitung.
Ensemble
Der ENSEMBLE-Effekt erzeugt beim Anschlä­
gen einer Taste einen volleren, leicht vibrieren­
den Klang und läßt sich mit einem Choruseffekt
vergleichen. Durch einmaliges Drücken der
ENSEMBLE-Taste schalten Sie den ENSEM­
BLE-Effekt ein, durch erneutes Drücken der
Taste wird er wieder ausgeschaltet. Bei aktivier­
tem Effekt leuchtet die LED-Anzeige über der
ENSEMBLE-Taste.

Ensemble
L'effet ensemble produit un son multi-
instrumental épais. Appuyer une première fois
sur la touche ENSEMBLE (le témoin corres­
pondant s'allume) pour activer l'effet ensem­
ble et une deuxième fois (le témoin ENSEMBLE
s'éteint) pour l'arrêter.

Conjunto
El efecto de conjunto produce un sonido de
instrumentos múltiples “grueso”. Presione el
botón ENSEMBLE una vez (su indicador se
encenderá) para activar el efecto de conjunto, y
una segunda vez (el indicador de ENSEMBLE se
apagará) para desactivar el efecto de conjunto.
