Using the play/record timer
To change the timer
Press [©PLAY/0REC] to select the desired timer.
Every time the button is pressed the setting changes as follows.

To check settings
While the unit is on and the ‘©PLAY” (or “®REC”) indicator is on,
press [CLOCK/TIMER] so “©PLAY” (or ‘©REC”) appears on the
display.
Two seconds after “©PLAY” (or “©REC") appear, the settings are
displayed in the following order;
• For play timer
•
® Play start time
@ Play finish time
CD
Play source
(3) Playback volume
For record timer
(3) Recording start time
CD
Recording finish time
@ Recording source
You can check the settings even when the system is OFF by pressing
[CLOCKH'IMER] twice.
To enjoy the desimd source after the timer setting Is completted
The volume level (for play timer) and music source are stored in the
timer memory and the timer will start in these preset conditions.
However, the Disc numbers and reverse mode do not get stored in
the timer memory.

start playing the desired source.

Reset the Disc numbers and reverse mode (For SC-AK52,
SC-AK44 and SC-AK22: Russia and Ukraina only) if you have
changed any of friem, confirm that a Disc or cassette is inserted,
then press [0/1] to put the unit on standby.
If you svwtch the system to the st^dby mode while the play/record
timer is functioning, the OFF time setting will not be activated.
If AUX is seiected as the source, when the timer comes ON, the
system will turn ON and will engage “AUX” as tiie source. If you
want to playback or record from a connected component, set the
component’s timer to the same time. (See the instruction manual
that came with the component.)
