4 Install the replacement cartridge in the printer:
5 Close the front cover.
6 From the Control Program’s Cartridges tab, select
Install/Change Cartridge. For help, see page 21.
7 Select the cartridge type you installed and click OK.
8 If you installed a new cartridge, the Alignment dialog box
displays. Follow the instructions on the Alignment screen
to complete the cartridge installation. For help, see
page 24.
Warning:
DO NOT
touch the
gold area on
the print
cartridge.
Push back firmly
on the cartridge
until it snaps
securely into
place. Insert the
replacement
print cartridge
into the print
cartridge
carriage. If you are installing a
new cartridge, remove
only the sticker and
transparent tape on
the bottom of the
print cartridge.
