3.6.4 FILE
→ SAVE LOG FILE
The Activity Log window keeps a record of every operator action and the status of the KPA
900 response. This record is valuable as a diagnostic tool or as a quality record that
describes the steps and results of the programming section of the programming operation.
An electronic file is created in ASCII text format which can be archived or printed based
on the operator requirements.
To run the Save Log File operation, select the Save Log File option from the File menu.
No window is displayed and there are no options to select a different file name. A
time-stamped log file is created in the KPA directory when this option is selected. The
format of the file name is similar to 07-23-07_25910PM.log. The text line "Activity log for
KPA 900 Configuration Module Programmer" followed by a blank line is inserted into the
file. A copy of the contents of the Activity Log window is stored in the file.
3.6.5 FILE
→ ADD EDIT COMMENTS
Select the Add Edit Comments option from the File menu to add or edit comments. A
Comment Field Editor frame is displayed as shown in Figure 3-9. Not all command
buttons are enabled, but the Active Line text box is visible at all times.
