The Home Screen
The Home App launches automatically when the phone starts up. The Home App only has one level of screen called
the
Home
Screen
that
shows
the
Main
Menu
of
all
available
OBi
Apps.
Further
information
on
the
apps
included
with
the
OBi
is
available
in
the
section
titled
“OBi
Phone
Apps”.
To
launch
an
app
from
the
home
screen:
•
Highlight the corresponding icon with the
∧
(Up),
∨
(Down),
<
(Left) and
>
(Right) navigation keys
•
Press the
√
(Enter) Key in the middle of the navigation key area to launch the app
The
following
operations
apply
to
all
Apps:
•
Pressing the
(Home) key closes all screens and returns to the Home Screen.
•
Pressing the
(Back) key closes the current GUI screen shown on top. If this is the first screen of an app,
then that app will exit.

Pressing
enter
at
this
point
would
launch
the
Contacts
App.
Soft
key
functions
are
displayed
along
the
bottom
of
the
screen.
When
the
home
screen
is
active
the
following
soft
keys are displayed:
•
Redial: Shortcut to launch Outgoing Call History to let the user select a number from the list to call
•
Call Forward: Press once to enable/disable call forwarding for all calls, or to configure a call forwarding
destination
number
if
none
is
configured.
Pressing
and
holding
the
key
also
brings
up
the
call
forwarding
configuration
utility
to
enter
a
destination
number
•
Missed: When there are unchecked missed calls, the soft key will highlight red and show the number of
missed
calls
that
have
not
been
reviewed
by
the
user.
The
soft
key
is
a
short
cut
to
launch
the
Missed
Calls
History
to
let
the
user
view
incoming
calls
that
have
not
been
answered
•
Lines: Displays more soft key options for all the available “Lines” (voice services installed on the phone) to
let
the
user
select
a
specific
line
to
make
a
call.
If
a
line
is
down
for
any
reason,
the
corresponding
soft
key
option
stills
shows
the
account
user
name
of
the
line,
albeit
greyed
out
