Thank you for purchasing US-PRECISE-PRO digital scale. Please read all
operation instructions carefully before use.
Scales are precision instruments and should always be handled with proper care. To
ensure years of reliable service, keep these simple tips in mind:
Do not exceed the scales maximum capacity. Overloading your scale can
permanently damage it!
Avoid exposure to extreme heat or cold. Scales perform best at normal room
temperature. If temperatures have changed dramatically, recalibration may
be necessary.
Allow your scale to acclimate to the room temperature for at least one hour
before use.
Store your scale in a clean, dry location. Dust, dirt, and moisture can
accumulate on the weighing sensors and electronics causing inaccuracy or
malfunction.
Avoid using you scale in close proximity to strong radio wave emitting
devices such as computers, cash registers, and cordless phones.
Always weigh on a flat level surface, free from vibrations and drafts. The
corner of a room is usually the most stable.
Gently apply all items to be weighed. Do not drop items onto the weighing
platform.
Avoid dropping your scale. The warranty does not cover damage due to
rough treatment or overload.

weighing so that the scale will function properly and accurately.
Place the Scale on a horizontal flat surface.
1. Press ON/OFF key.
2. Wait until [0.000] is displayed.
3. Select the weighing unit with [UNIT]. (Using the UNIT key, you can switch
among the weighing units.)
4. Start weighing
If you do not use a container for weighing, verify the reading is “0”. If not,
press [ZERO] to display “0”.
Place the object(s) on the platform to weigh. When the reading becomes
stabled weighing value is displayed.
If you use a container for weighing, Place an empty container on the
platform. Wait for the stability weighing value to be displayed and press
[ZERO] to display “0”. Place the objects to be weighed on the container.
When the reading becomes stabled weighing value is displayed.

AUTO SHUT-OFF
To extend battery life, this scale will automatically turn off after about 2 minutes of
inactivity. To disable this function follow the instruction bellow:

press [ON/OFF] to turn the scale on, the display will show A-ON or A-OFF
Press [ZERO] to select A_ON or A_OFF.
A_ON = Auto shut off function active,
A_OFF = Auto shut off function is inactive.
4- AUTO BACKLIGHT MODE

Press [ON/OFF] to turn the scale off, press [ON/OFF] again to turn on the scale and it
returns to the weighing mode.
5-STANDARD CALIBRATION
Calibration may be required when initially installed, if the scale is moved to a
substantial distance. This is necessary because the weight of a mass in one location is
not necessarily the same in another location. Also with time and use, mechanical
deviations may occur.
NOTE:
Ensure the scale is level and stable during the entire calibration process
Turn the scale ON and allow the scale to warm up for at least 1 minute after
stabilization to room temperature.
1- Press [ON/OFF] to turn the power off, Press and hold [UNIT], then Press
[ON/OFF] to turn on the scale, the display will show CAL then numbers.
2- Press [UNIT], the display will show “50.000” add the 50g weigh on the

3- The display will show “……” then the A/D value.
4- Now calibration is finished.
5- Press [ON/OFF] to turn off the scale, press [ON/OFF] again to turn the scale
on, place the weight on the platform to make sure the weighing is correct, if
not, repeat above steps 1-3.
7-TROUBLESHOOTING
The primary reasons for inaccuracy or malfunction are low batteries, incorrect
calibration, overload or operating on an unstable surface. Please keep this in mind
and maintain and operate your scale properly. The scale is a precise instrument and
must be handled with the utmost care and caution.
