Caution
● The NVS2825 buzzer—repeating every 3 seconds--indicates the
completion of the test. The power does not turn off automatically
at the completion of the test.
● The NVS2825 returns to the initial mode only after the user presses
the control key for more than 1 second.
● It is strongly recommended that the AC adapter be used during this
test in order to prevent battery failure during the process.
Select “Self test” sub-menu from the
“HDD Management” menu
The User can choose between a quick test or
a full test. Choose the quick test. The quick
test uses a S.M.A.R.T test provided by the hard
drive.
(The Quick test cannot be used for SSD models
of the NVS2825.)
The quick test takes several minutes to test
the internal hard drive. Pressing the control
key initiates the quick test.
The display tells the user that the S.M.A.R.T
test is in progress.
