The dealer should…
Step 1. Bolt the A-frames (strut risers) (1) to the outside of the top angle (2)
using bolts (3), flat washers (3A), lockwashers) (4), and nuts (5). Do not
tighten until assembly is complete. Bolt lift pin (6) through a-frame. Figure1
Step 2. Insert bolt (9) through flat washer (9 A), into stiff-arm (8), through out-
side of top rail (2), assemble with lockwasher (10) and nut (11). Do not tighten
until assembly is complete.
Step 3. Insert top bolt (7) through A-frame (1), through stiff-arm (8) , through
pivot-flex (12) with spacer (13) inserted in middle of pivot-flex, (other side)
through stiff-arm (8), through A-frame (1), through flat washer (13 A) and
apply nut (14).
Step 4. Begin tightening assembly. Start with Step 2, Step 3, and then Step 1.
Note: On item number (12) Flex Point, if cutter has a three hole flex with two
holes to receive a œ" bolt, use the hole that is the furthest away from the "U"
bend. If the Flex Pivot provides only one hole to receive a œ" bolt, use that
hole for assembly.
