Telephone*
Telephone operation
On the multifunction steering wheel:
̈ Press s .
The call is active. Communication is con-
ducted via the hands-free system. The
call volume can be adjusted
(
୴ page 28).
For other user functions, see
“Active call” (

Terminating a call
On the COMAND control unit:
̈ Press /.
On the multifunction steering wheel:
̈ Press t .
The desired phone number has to be en-
tered when placing an outgoing call.
The following options are available:
ț entering a phone number directly

ț using redial ( ୴ page 80),
ț selecting an entry in the accepted and
missed calls list (
୴ page 80),
ț selecting an entry in the dialed calls list
(
୴ page 81),
ț using speed dial ( ୴ page 82), or
ț opening the phone book and selecting
an entry (
୴ page 86).
Entering a phone number
̈ Open the Telephone main menu
(
୴ page 77).
̈ Use " - ! to enter the phone num-
ber.
Deleting the last or more digits:
̈ Press the Delete soft key as often
as required.
̈ After entering the phone number,
press
0.
The telephone dials the entered num-
ber.

It is also possible to accept or termi-
nate a call from the cell phone
