2. Component Description
2.1 Shelf
The OM6062R shelf is designed for industrial and medical environments as well as for appli-
cation development. The shelf’s steel frame provides a robust housing for system components
and airflow channelization over the system slots. The OM6062R is delivered with four feet of
which the front two are retractable for placement on a desktop or shelf. Optionally there are two
different types of mounting brackets available for rack or wall mounting.
The shelf is designed to accommodate Double Mid-size AMC modules and is a single-tier ver-
tically oriented MicroTCA™ cube format system. Single Mid-size AMC modules may also be
used. To support these modules, there are various filler-panel assemblies optionally available
to ensure proper air flow through the subrack.
