Hard Disk Status / Rebuild Indicators
The upper indicator represents the top drive carrier, the lower indicator represents
the bottom drive carrier (refer to
fig. 4, pos. 4
and
pos. 5
and
fig. 5
). If a drive fails,
the appropriate LED indicator turns on, red and an audible alarm sounds. You can
turn off the audible alarm by unlocking the drive carrier.
The red indicator of the target drive carrier will light up and blink while rebuilding
(refer to “Disk Activity LED-Indicators” chapter).
