The KISS-Stor 1 supports the following features:

Hard Drive Hot Swapping for RAID 1 Configuration
Hot Swapping allows the removal and installation of hard disk drives without
powering down the system.
Automatic Drive Rebuilding for RAID 1 Array
If a member drive in a RAID 1 array is replaced, the KISS-Stor 1 will automatically
start to rebuild data to the new drive.
RAID Failure audible Alarm
In the event that a drive fails, the corresponding red indicators (disk activity LED
and hard disk status) turn on and an alarm sounds. You can turn off the alarm by
unlocking the drive carrier.
