10GbE Uplink to AMC Bays

The fabric mezzanine module provides zero (BCM56x00), two (BCM56x02) or four
(BCM56x04) 10GbE connections to AMC B2 and AMC B1 of the Hub Board (see Table 3-22,
Fabric Interface Port Mapping). Together with the AM4310 10GbE Uplink AMC, a high speed
shelf interconnect is possible (see chapter 3.3).

3.2.2

IPMI

The Management is done by the IPMI controller of the Hub Board. The mezzanine is connected
by an I2C interface the IPM controller on the base board. It provides an EEPROM with 64Kbyte
RAM for module information. Voltage and temperature measurement is done by a 10-Bit digital
temperature sensor with eight channels ADCs.

3.2.3

Power Supply

The power supply is designed according the PICMG 3.0 standard. The board power sequenc-
ing is done by the IPMI controller of the Hub Board.

The base board provides the 3V3_SUS management power supply for the mezzanine. The
power is used to supply all management relevant parts.

12V payload power are also supplied by the base board. They are used to derive the 3V3, 2V5
and the 1V25 power supply for the mezzanine module payload.

Maximum power consumption of the fabric mezzanine module is 25W.
