Cable Interfacing
Considerations:
1. No modification to the CP372 itself is permitted (i.e. connector pin shorting).
2. The resistance of cabling contacts should be kept to an absolute minimum. In any event
the contact resistance must be taken into consideration when determining the signal con-
ditioning requirements of the application. In particular, for analog current outputs this can
be a significant factor in determining V
ext
requirements as well as being a source of op-
erational performance degradation.
3. If necessary, cabling to the CP372 CON2 connector should physically be fixed to prevent
strain on the CON2 connector.
