Preparing the outer casing

Ingredients:
450g lean meat
150g - 200g flour
1 finely ground nutmeg
Spices, ground red paprika and pepper to suit your taste

3) Mince the meat three times then mix all the ‘outer casing’ ingredients in a bowl. (More meat and less flour

produces a better consistency and better taste).

4) Mince the mixture three times.

5) Remove the clamping ring (part no.14) from the mincer, remove the cutting disc (parts 10, 11 or 12) and

remove the blade (part no.9). Fit both parts of the kibbe attachment (part no.13) to the head unit (part
no.5) so that the pins slot into the grooves of the head. Fix the kibbe attachment in place by tightening the
clamping ring firmly but not excessively.

6) Prepare a series of cylindrical shapes by feeding the outer casing mixture through the mincer.

7) Fill each cylinder with some stuffing, then fry them thoroughly in cooking oil.

Dismantling the mincer

Switch off the mincer and wait for the motor to stop completely.

Unplug the mains cable from the socket.

Dismantle the mincer by following the assembly process in reverse. If you’re unable to unscrew the clamping
ring (part no.14) you may find that pressing a wooden spoon against the grip will help you turn it.

Carefully placing the tip of a screwdriver under the positioning pins of the cutting disc (parts 10, 11 or 12) can
help you remove the disc.

To remove the head, press the release button (part no.16) and turn the head clockwise slightly.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Warning! Before you clean the appliance it must be switched off and the mains plug must be
removed from the wall socket.
Never allow the body of the mincer, the cable or the mains plug to become wet.

Important: parts of the appliance that come into contact with meat must be cleaned thoroughly
after each use. This is essential to maintain safe food handling and hygiene. Always clean each
part carefully and meticulously as soon as possible. Cleaning the mincer is a priority because any
meat that remains on the appliance or its accessories could cause severe food poisoning.

Clean the outside cover of the appliance with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth and then wipe the cleaned surfaces
with a dry lint-free cloth. Take care not to allow any moisture inside the cover.
