3 Secure the two long covers with the front and rear drum guards to the dyno
chassis using the eight 3/8-16 x 1" button-head allen bolts removed earlier.
4 The distance between the CE drum guards and the drum can be adjusted by
loosening the screws that attach the drum guards to the above ground covers,
adjusting the distance to less than five millimeters, and tightening the screws.
Note: For clarity, the 224 deck is not shown.
Do not operate the dynamometer without the CE drum guards properly
installed. The gap between the drum guards and the drum must be less than
five millimeters.
