Use the self-timer function to delay shut
ter release for 10 seconds and include
yourself in the picture. Place the camera
on a tripod, table, or other steady surface.
• Shooting mode is automatically set to
Program AE.
1) Set the command dial to “ ci) ”
2) Compose the picture and press the shut
ter button to start the timer while look
ing Into the viewfinder. A beeper tone
sounds to monitor the countdown. Two
seconds before the picture is taken, the
beeper tone sounds rapidly.
