Autom atic Shutter S peed S etting
On the Canon F-1 (in Shutter-Priority AE
mode), A-1, AE-1 PROGRAM, AL-1, AE-1,
and AV-1, once the pilot lamp lights up
(which means the flash is charged), the
shutter speed switches to 1/60 sec. (1/90
sec in the case of F-1) automatically except
when the camera is set to "B " Setting the
shutter speed is, therefore, unnecessary.
