Reduction

Use this mode to reduce the red-eye effect that can

occur when you take pictures of people with the flash

lamp. In dark conditions, the red-eye reduction lamp
automatically lights before the flash fires.

Changing the Shooting Mode

1. Turn the mode dial to

2. stay within about 2 ml

6.6 ft. of your subject.

• The red-eye reduction

lamp is only effective

within this distance.

3. Tell your subject to look

at the camera.
