• COMMANDER is set to OFF.

Commander does not work .

Set it to ON in the menu system, (p. 27)

• Something is blocking the infrared rays.

Remove the obstacle.

• The battery is not inserted with the correct polarity.

Insert the battery with the correct polarity, (p. 72)

• The batteries are dead.

■> Insert new ones. (p. 72)

There is dust in the viewfinder.

• Detach the eyecup and clean the viewfinder lens. (p. 58)
