If you use an answering service or voice
message service, you must listen to nl!
your messages before you can connect to
the WebTV Network.
To Do This
Change sign-up information Highlight WEBTV USERS and press
Choose the user and press
Enter new information in the appropriate text
boxes.
Highlight DONE and press to return to
the SETUP page.
Note
This can only be done from the primary account.
Hide/display ADVANCED OPTIONS Highlight ADVANCED OPTIONS and press
The ADVANCED OPTIONS appear on
your OPTIONS Panel if you choose this
sotting. See The OPTIONS panel on page 24.
The ADVANCED OPTIONS allow you to:
RELOAD: Update the version of the page you
arc currently \'isiting.
HANGUP: Temporarily disconnect from the
WebTV Network to make a phone call. To
reconnect, press WebTV reconnects you
to the same page you were visiting when \'ou
disconnected.
Turn off WebTV' music Highlight MUSIC and pre.ss
Highlight the appropriate check box and press
♦ A red check mark in the box means vou
will hear the music. Press again to remove
the check mark.
Highlight DONE and press to return to
the SETUP area.
Select dialing options Highlight DIALING and press
A list of options appears:
CALL WAITING: Choo.se whether your
Internet Terminal disconnects from the
WebTV Network when a call comes in; enter a
prefix for dialing out.
BASIC: Enter a prefix for dialing out; choose
tone dialing.
ADVANCED: Set a dialing speed.
ACCESS: Enter an access number for WebTV.
RESET: Reverts to factory settings.
Highlight the box next to a desired option
and press A red check mark means the
dialing option is turned on. Press again to
remo\ e the check mark.
Highlight CXDNEand press to return to
the SETUP page.
