Note on level adjustment of headphone (earphone)
output
You may notice a change in the sound volume when you press
the INPUT SELECT switch, if you connect the one INPUT (1 or
2) of the woofer/amplifier to the line outputs of the audio
equipment and the other INPUT to the headphone (or
eeirphone) jack of the audio equipment.
This is because the output level of the headphone (or earphone)
output differs from that of the line outputs.
To reduce the volume change when selecting the INPUT,
adjust the headphone (or earphone) ou^ut volume as follows;
1
Adjust VOLUME of the woofer/amplifier for optimum level,
while reproducing the sound fed from the line outputs.
2
Press INPUT SELECT to select the headphone (or
earphone) output. Reproduce the headphone output sound.
3
While you keep VOLUME of the woofer/eunplifier set in step
1, adjust the overall sound volume (output from the
headphone or earphone jack) with the volume control of the
audio equipment.
