The power does not turn on. The power cord is not conrrected to the AC outlet.
The demonsfration picture does
not appear on the screen
though the power is on.
• The titter and the video equipment are not connected correctly.

• The input selector on the recorder is not set to LINE IN.
• The input selector on the TV (or the monitor) is nof set correctly.
The title on the screen is not
clear.
When you set the player to play pause mode or special playback
mode, the btfe on the screen may be distorted.
The title on the screen is not
visible. Vou cannot create a title in the upper and lower margins o1 the screen.
This is nota malfuriction.
The video picture is not visible. • The background of the title is not set correctly. Refer to “Setting the
Background of the Title" on page 27,
• The player is not playing the tape.
• The titler and the video equipment are not connected correctly
