Controlling the TV or the AV Receiver (Amplifier) with the
Supplied Remote
If you adjust the remote signal, you can control your TV
with the supplied remote. Default setting is to control
Sony TVs with the ® mark.
When you connect the player to a Sonv AV receiver
(amplifier), you can also set the input of Jhe receiver
(amplifier) to this plaver with the supplied remote.

Controlling TVs with the remote
1 Slide TV/DVD switch to TV.
2 Hold down I/O (POWER), and enter your TV's
manufacturer's code (see the table) using the
number buttons. Then release l/(!) (POWER).
Code numbers of controllable TVs
If more than one code number is listed, trv entermg them
one at a time until vou find the_one that works with vour
TV.

Notes
• If vou enter a new code number, the code number previou.dt
entered will be erased.
• When, you replace the batteries ot the remote commander, the
code number automatically resets to 01 (Sonv). Reset the
appropriate code number.
