This chapter describes how to set and
how to adjust using the on-screen SET

UP menu. Most settings and

adjustments are required to be set
when you first use the player.

This chapter also describes how to set
the remote for controlling the TV or
the AV receiver (amplifier).

Using the Setup Display

Using the setup display, you can do the initial setup,

adjusting the picture and sound quality, setting the

various outputs, etc. You can also set a language for the

subtitles and the setup display, limit playback by children,

etc.

For details on each setup display item, see pages 50 to 61.

Note

You can display the setup display only when the player is in stop

mode.
