Replacing the Palm Rest

Procedure
1 Align the tabs on the palm rest with the slots on the computer base and
snap the palm rest into place.
2 Replace the screws that secure the palm rest to the system board.
3 Slide the touchpad cable and the power-button board cable into the
system-board connectors and press down on the connector latches to
secure the cables.
4 Close the display and turn the computer over.
5 Replace the screws that secure the palm rest to the computer base.
Post-requisites
1 Replace the keyboard .
2 Replace the optical drive .
3 Follow the procedures from step 3 to step 5 in replacing the hard drive .
4 Replace the base cover .
5 Replace the battery .
