Entering the Service Tag in the BIOS
Removing the System Board

Follow the procedures in

Press and eject any installed cards from the ExpressCard slot or the 8-in-1 media card reader.
3.
Remove the battery (see

).
4.
Remove the base cover (see

5.
Remove the memory module(s) (see

6.
Remove the Mini-Card(s) (see

7.
Remove the hard drive(s) (see

8.
Remove the coin-cell battery (see

9.
Remove the center control cover (see

10.
Remove the keyboard (see

11.

Remove the seven screws that secure the system board assembly to the computer base.
