Removing the Modem Connector
1.
Follow the instructions in
Before You Begin
.
2.
Remove the modem (see
Removing the Modem
).
3.
Remove the system board (see
Removing the System Board Assembly
).
4.
Remove the M2.5 x 5-mm screw that secures the modem connector to the base of the computer.
5.
Lift the modem connector out of the computer.
Replacing the Modem Connector
1.
Align the screw hole in the modem connector with the screw hole in the base of the computer, and then lower the connector into place.
2.
Replace the M2.5 x 5-mm screw and secure the modem connector to the base of the computer.
3.
