Press Wheel Hose Delivery Hardware
Start with the row unit on the right end of the drill.
71. Before mounting the first retainer, examine the row
unit. Decide whether Small Seeds delivery is to be
in-row or between rows. If Seed-Lok is present, that
constrains where the retainer can be placed.

72. Select one each new:
123-202D GRASS SEED HOSE RETAINER
123-298D HOSE RETAINER MOUNT PLATE
four each new:
804-007C WASHER FLAT 1/4 SAE PLT
and two sets of new:
802-224C HHCS 1/4-20X1 1/4 GR5
804-006C WASHER LOCK SPRING 1/4 PLT
803-006C NUT HEX 1/4-20 PLT
73. Position the retainer on the press wheel arm as
desired, and clamp in place with the plate . Be
sure to use a flat washer under both the bolt
head and under the lock washer . Secure
the nut only finger tight until after the hose is
installed.
74. Select one new:
800-024C CLAMP WORM DRIVE 11/16-1 1/4
Open the clamp far enough to allow it to fit over
the curved portion of the retainer , and to accept
the hose .
75. Adjust the hose position until the bottom end is
just above the exit port on the main seed tube (not
shown). Leave enough slack so that the hose is not
in tension when the drill is raised, and the row units
lowered. Tighten the clamp
enough to prevent
the hose from coming loose in normal operation.
76. Repeat step 72 through step 75 for the remaining
row units. NOTE: MUST BE MOUNTED TO FRONT
WHEN USED WITH SEED-LOK.
